We collect as little as we can. No ads, no analytics, no tracking pixels, and we never sell your information.
Who we are

What we collect, and why
Newsletter. If you sign up, we keep your email address, the name you typed (optional) and the date. It is stored in one file on our web host and used only to send you the BIBLERAPS newsletter. Every email will say how to unsubscribe, and you can always email us to be removed. When you unsubscribe, we delete your address from the list.
Messages to Pastor Dale. When you use the message form, we receive your name, your email and your message. The form emails it to our inbox (a Google Gmail account, so Google stores it under its own privacy policy) and keeps a copy on our web host. We use it to read and, sometimes, reply.
"Buy the Entire Lie" offers. Same as messages: whatever you type goes to our inbox and a copy on our web host.
Candles. The first name and message you type are shown publicly on the Wall of Flames. We also store the time and a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address to stop spam. We never store your raw IP address with a candle.
Purchases. Checkout happens on Lemon Squeezy, which is the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment card, billing address and email to process the order, charge tax and send your receipt and download. We never see your full card number. Lemon Squeezy sends us the order details (your name, email, what you bought, the amount, and a candle code if you lit one) so we can deliver the product and answer questions. Server logs. Like every website, our host (DreamHost) automatically records basic request logs, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and troubleshooting. We do not use them to track you.
What we do not do
- We do not sell, rent or trade your information.
- We do not use advertising or analytics services.
- We do not use your information for anything except the reason you gave it to us.
Who else touches it
Only the services needed to run the site: DreamHost (hosting), Google Gmail (our inbox), and Lemon Squeezy (checkout and delivery). We will also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Newsletter: until you unsubscribe. Messages and offers: up to 2 years, then deleted. Candles: while they are on the wall, then up to 1 year. Orders: as long as tax and accounting law requires.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email yourlinetogod@gmail.com from the address you used and we will handle it within 30 days. If you live in a place with specific privacy rights (for example California or the EU), you have those rights too, and this is how to use them.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child sent us information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top.
